About the role:

We are currently looking for a Head of Financial and Digital Inclusion to join us on a 12 month fixed term basis to help to support this vision by developing and delivering the Torus Foundation business plan.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on the development and implementation for the Financial and Digital Inclusion Pillar, using inward investment to deliver against social impact objectives
  • Owning the delivery of financial and digital inclusion programmes
  • Recommending strategies, developing operational practices and delivering activity in relation to the implementation of the business plan
  • Generating income for social investment and plans for the delivery of activities which have social impact
  • Outlining priorities and aligning appropriate resources to meet operational plans
  • Working with external partners to identify trends and opportunities

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of financial inclusion and / or digital inclusion
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of national agenda and current policy issues in the housing sector and best practice in the field, including social impact methodologies
  • Leadership and management experience at senior level to include performance and change management.
  • A background of implementing innovative solutions and approaches to service delivery
  • Relevant experience of generating income and obtaining grant funding
  • An existing network of organisations and individuals with the scope to develop these relationships as well as building new ones to expand the network
  • Experience of successfully managing budgets
