Reach Resourcing are currently looking to recruit an experienced Factory Manager.
Reach Resourcing are proud to announce that we are currently recruiting an experienced Factory Manager for our client based in Hull who are rapidly expanding whilst specialising in the manufacturing of holiday homes.
The role:
The vacancy has arisen for the Factory Manager role within production; the role is to manage a group of people to achieve specific objectives for an area(s) of the production which leads to overall achievement of the production function.
Due to significant growth due to both the quality and design of our clients holiday homes we are looking for a committed Factory Manager who can continue the growth and reputation within a highly competitive industry.
Reporting to the Production Director the Factory Manager will be responsible for facilitating the accurate, efficient and safe production of all holiday homes manufactured.
Experience & Expectations:
* Knowledge of production lines in a caravan or modular manufacturing environment
* Experience of people management in a manufacturing environment
* Lean manufacturing experience
* Basic IT skills, Word, Excel
* Knowledge of Health & Safety awareness
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead effectively and ensure that all 40 operatives are receiving clear direction and motivation
* Responsible for all Health & Safety matters in their area of work
* To be responsible for the quality of the work produced
* Ensure projects are met on time and to cost alongside achievable weekly production targets
* Lost time reporting
* Adhere to all standard operating procedures
* Assignment of tasks as necessary to team members
* Risk assessments of the area
To be successful candidates must be experienced, highly motivated, quality conscious, hardworking with good time and attendance.
Pay:
* GBP Negotiable, plus performance related bonus
