Automotive Service Manager
Are you a motivated, customer-focused individual, with strong leadership skills, looking to work for an established, dynamic motor retailer, and act as a brand ambassador, supporting a fast-paced business in leading a high performance team, and delivering a premium customer experience?

An exciting, new opportunity has arisen for an operationally savvy self-starter to join our dealership in Reading as Service Manager.
Reporting into the Aftersales Manager, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for the effective and efficient running of the Service department, and for ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered at all times.
We're looking for someone to:
* Lead the team of Service Advisors, supporting and coaching them to deliver an exceptional customer experience
* Take ownership of the day-to-day performance, and ongoing training, of the Service Advisor team
* Monitor customer satisfaction score and ensure that expected levels of performance are achieved
* Deal promptly and empathetically with customer complaints, ensuring effective resolutions are reached
* Support Service Advisor team to ensure upsell objectives are met
We're looking for someone who:
* Has experience in a supervisory role within an automotive Service department
* Proactively drives continuous improvements to processes to ensure an exceptional level of customer service is always delivered.
* Is confident in handling and resolving customer issues, dealing personally with any escalations.
* Is an excellent communicator who is comfortable liaising with stakeholders at every level of the business.
* Is passionate about developing their team and experienced in performance management.
