Maths Teacher - Scunthorpe
Salary: GBP120-GBP160 per day
Start Date: Easter 2021/September 2021
Contract: Supply/Fixed TermGSL Education Hull is currently looking to appoint a Maths Teacher to work in Scunthorpe based Secondary Schools, Special Needs Schools and Alternative Provisions. It is preferred that applicants have experience differentiating lesson plans in accordance with additional needs, such as ASC, SEMH and MLD, or to have experience within an Alternative Provision.
This is a great opportunity for Newly Qualified Teachers looking to begin their career within the education sector, or for experienced Teachers seeking a change.
We are looking for a Mathematics Teacher who is dynamic in the classroom and is able to provide creative resources for students at a range of ability levels.
The applicant is required to have the following:
A valid teaching qualification or UK equivalent namely a PGCE or BEd with QTS
Experienced teaching in an SEN Provision; Behaviour, PMLD, MLD, PRU, Autism or SEMH
Experience of teaching Maths to GCSE within the last 2 years; A-Level experience is an added advantage
Passionate about the subject and in command of techniques to keep students engrossed
Strong interpersonal skills and classroom behavior management, lesson-planning, patience and empathy
An enhanced Child Only DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one with GSL Education GSL Education offers:
