The Gi Group team in Portsmouth are supporting our client in Gloucester who are currently seeking a Vehicle Inspector on a full time, permanent basis
- Vehicle Inspector

Core job role;
To carry out inspections to both company and third party customer vehicles as requested.
Key accountabilities:
* Carry out vehicle inspection according to customer specified standards (i.e. BVRLA fair, wear and tear standard, manufacturer return standard or bespoke standard)
* Record repair methods and costs according to customer requirements.
* Carry out vehicle inspection (routine and pre-MOT) according to Company schedules identifying and recording the correct repair method.
* Communicating effectively with colleagues whilst passing on vehicles to the next stage of the process.
* Vehicle inspections to be completed within customers' KPI's / timescales.
* Maintain a tidy and professional working environment.
* Report any sub-standard work identified to your mentor.
* Miscellaneous workshop duties (e.g. parts collection) on instruction from mentor or Workshop management.
* Comply with Company and statutory safety rules within workshop and throughout all vehicle inspection / repair operations.
Requirements;
* Full valid UK driving licence
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to meet targets and deadlines
* Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and demanding environment
* Be able to work as part of a team
* Comply with Health and Safety requirements and legislation
* Maintain a positive working relationship with all members of staff
