My Client is looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer, for a schools contract for various Birmingham Schools. You Must have an enhanced DBS check in place.
The role will include:
Carry out planned preventable maintenance (PPM) on electrical and electronic systems, plant and equipment in accordance with the PPM programme.
Respond in a timely manner to breakdown requests.
Carry out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works.
Carry out duties in accordance with safe working practices within statutory and Company guidelines.
Safely operate all types of access equipment, hand and power tools in accordance with health & safety and manufacturers' guidelines.
Ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment and adherence to health & safety and infection control procedures.
Maintain records as appropriate.
Undertake a willingness to assist and work flexibly with other trades.
Ensure that there is minimum disruption to the Departments whilst carrying out work.
Undertake training where necessary to maintain and develop the requirements of the service
Collaborate and co-operate with the partners and colleagues to deliver a customer focussed service.
Liaise and undertake duties at other projects as directed.
Qualification
Recognised apprenticeship in the relevant engineering discipline.
GCSE / O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
Qualified to 18th Edition IEE Regulations.
