Here at Seashell Trust we provide care and education for children and young people (up to 25 years old) with severe, profound and complex learning difficulties and disabilities, sensory impairment and communication disorders and autism.

We are recruiting for a talented SEN Teacher to join our expert team at Royal School Manchester in our Outstanding (Ofsted) special School who are passionate about students with SEN.The post-holder will be responsible for a group of pupils both pastorally and educationally and be a line manager for a group of Teaching Assistants.The age range of the pupils in our School is 2 – 18 years old.

Requirements

  • Experience teaching pupils with complex learning and education needs
  • Experience working in a child centred and individual learning way
  • Experience of differentiating the Curriculum
  • Multi-disciplinary working
  • Primary and secondary school experience considered
  • Teaching Degree or Post Graduate Diploma with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
