HSE Recruitment are exclusively working with a new and extremely exciting company, who are growing at an exponential rate, on the recruitment of a HSE Advisor. This role is offered on a day rate basis and will be an immediate start for a period of 2 months initially but with good potential to extend.

The role will be based from home but will require travel across Midlands and the North (including Scotland) when necessary. Due to the nature of the company and the work please note applicants must not be classified, or live with anyone classified, as belonging to any of the COVID-19 high risk

As a HSE Advisor you will be responsible for providing a credible and visible HSE presence across the region, while working closely with the UK manager, whilst actively assisting laboratory and sampling site managers to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for employees and contractors (Advising, Training, Auditing and reporting).

You will also have responsibility for HSE inspections of mobile laboratories and new laboratory builds across the region, producing Risk Assessments and action plans, assisting with the development of HSE policies and procedures that can be applied company wide, assisting with the development of HSE training material for laboratories and more.

Ideally you will have a strong Health and Safety background and ideally some experience of lab/testing or similar environment/risk profiles. You will be NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum and will be able to start immediately. In return you will receive a day rate of GBP200 per day plus expenses (outside of IR35).
