Wood Press Operative
Area: Witton Birmingham B6 7ES
Pay: GBP9.50 per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Wood Press Operative to join the biggest door manufacturer in Birmingham, working night shifts, plenty of overtime and permanent full-time work.
The role of a Wood Press Operative is offered on temporary to ongoing basis, potentially leading to permanent positions.
As a Wood Press Operative your duties will include:
* Working within a busy Industrial / Production environment
* Pressing vinyl onto doors
* Beam Saw Operating
* CNC Work
* Ensuring customer daily KPI's are met.
As a Wood Press Operative, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience in working with Wood
* Beamsaw experience
* Experience with either Italpresse or Biesse machines
* CNC Experience
* Manual handling experience and okay with heavy lifting
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter and a willingness to learn
* Must be able to travel to Witton area of Birmingham for 6am.
* Candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours
As a Wood Press Operative, you will be expected to work Monday to Thursday 6am-4:30pm or 7:30am-6pm. Overtime on Friday and Saturday. You will receive a payment of GBP9.50 per hour, with the view of this rising when permanent.
