Greenacre Recruitment are working with a social housing provider in the Berkshire area to find a Repairs Operations Manager on a permanent basis.
The role is a permanent, full-time position; 37 hours per week (one evening to 7pm, included on the on call rota)
The role is office based and includes an additional car allowance
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following direct reports:
* Gas & Plumbing Supervisor
* Electrical Supervisor
* Maintenance Supervisor
* Trades Supervisor
* Voids Surveyor
* Contracts Supervisor
* Maintenance Team
* Works Planning Team
Education & Qualifications
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualified.
* Compliance qualification.
* Relevant professional qualification in housing or building and/or suitable experience within building maintenance.
* FRA qualification
Experience
* Experience of housing repairs in responsive environment.
* Minor works project experience.
* Experience of health and safety in construction environment.
* CDM 2015.
* Experience of managing remote and colocated staff.
* Experience of contract management.
* Experience of maintaining databases and schedule of rates.
* Experience of recent fire safety projects
* Management of Gas servicing projects
* Multiple experience working for local authority / RP / Contractor
