Cambridge Women’s Aid exists to make a positive change in the lives of women and children escaping domestic abuse.

Full-time Outreach Support Worker 

We are looking for a full-time outreach support worker to provide practical and emotional support to women affected by domestic abuse.

You will understand the dynamics and impact of domestic violence/abuse and how best to support survivors. Knowledge of help available to survivors of abuse is needed plus the ability to develop supportive relationships with women whilst maintaining professional boundaries.

This post is fixed term for a minimum of one year. Currently you will work from home, but normally the job is based in Cambridge City with some travel across the county and is paid at NJC pay scale 19-24, £25,481 - £28,672 p.a for a 37 hour week plus a 5% pension contribution.
