Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Bristol
Type: 3-6 month rolling contract
Hourly Rate: GBP10.50 PAYE. (Higher rates negotiable for more experienced candidates)
Hours: 7:30am - 4pm (Monday-Friday)
Production Operatives required for long term contracts based in Bristol.
Role & Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for carrying out modifications on small trucks and vans. You will be modifying the vehicles to customer specifications.
Modifications will include marking out and fitting racking systems, lock brackets and panels to various trucks and vans.
Main skills include marking out, cutting, drilling, riveting, assembling, light fittings and alterations of textiles/fabrics
You will be responsible for ensuring your work is completed to company standards
Key Skills:
Ability to work to engineering drawings & instructions
Must be competent in using various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, allen keys along with electric power tools such as electric drills.
Experience:
Previous experience gained within automotive manufacturing, vehicle conversion or coach building would be an added advantage.
