Energy Analyst

As an Energy Analyst, you will be part of a growing Data and Modelling analytics team supporting core services in providing data, analytics and designing, creating, implementing forecast models. You will provide a central point of modelling expertise to support any model related activity across the different streams of the business.

This is a highly technical role and will involve being able to work with a variety of tools and applications. You will have previous modelling experience including use of Linear linear optimisation tools such as VBA,SQL , Plexos and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and be able to work with large datasets in database structures.

You will be able to utilise a range of computational and statistical techniques to reach the desired outcome.

You are able to perform deep, thorough analysis of large complex data and have experience presenting information to stakeholders.

You need to be able to achieve goals and deliver results, you must have strong communication skills, being able to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders and lead discussions around complex ideas with audiences of all levels of expertise.
