Job Title: Purchasing Administrator
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Hourly Rate: GBP9.00 - GBP11.00 per hour
Location: Stafford
Contract: Temporary - Permanent
Our well-established client, based in Stafford, are looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join their team.
Duties as a Purchasing Administrator will include:
- Booking and raising purchase orders and contracts with suppliers
- Flagging any discrepancies with suppliers
- Ordering and management for general sales planning in line with revenue targets and orders
- Organising periodic stock takes on high turnover stock lines
- Purchase planning and forecasting stock
- Ensuring the companies KPI's regarding stock levels are met
- Cost saving initiatives including finding alternative suppliers
- Negotiating better pricing with existing suppliers
- Expediting open purchase orders to ensure delivery is on time and in full
- Assisting the accounts department to resolve any invoice queries before month end
- Producing reports weekly to make other departments aware of any potential stock issues
