The role is preferably based in our Inchinnan offices (outside of Glasgow); however, we would consider applicants based in London.

Ecommerce Merchandiser - The role
* Responsible for navigation structure and product discovery across all platforms, owning the Visual Merchandising strategy for M&Co
* Ensures all navigation routes, content and searches deliver a successful customer journey
* Responsible for all aspects of product publishing ensuring products go live on the site in a timely manner; liaising with B&M to ensure data is correct, enriching product descriptions to create a high standard of engaging copy with relevant attributes and metadata, and categorising product appropriately
* Create relevant category pages to capture trends and sale opportunities and to optimise for SEO and product discovery
* Work cross-functionally to execute offers, events and seasonal trading strategies and ensure that product is appropriately merchandised for all content and marketing campaigns
* Work closely with the Online Trading and Content teams and Buying to commercially merchandise product, including upsells and cross sells
* Be the point of contact for Customer Services for any on-site product related queries
* Work with licensers, wholesalers and concession brands to launch and optimise performance of their product on the M&Co sites
* Use a data-driven approach to any decision making
* Collate and send out regular reporting; delivering insight to the wider business on VM testing, search and category performance
Ecommerce Merchandiser - About You
* Experience in ecommerce and digital VM; with retail experience preferred
* You are a team player, able to build strong relationships with other internal and external teams and functions
* You are proactive and able to work to strict deadlines
* You have a strong eye for detail, strong organisational skills and strive for a high level of accuracy
