Our client, is a professional services organisation with offices based across Dorset and Somerset. They are seeking to recruit, on a full time, permanent basis, an enthusiastic Office Assistant to provide effective administrative support to their office based in Taunton.

The purpose of the role is to provide effective administrative support to office and professional relief cover on their Reception.

On a day-to-day basis, duties will also include:

Collect cheques received for payment daily and deliver to Office Manager
Collect cheque requests on a daily basis and submit to Office Manager
Scanning in post for all teams in Taunton office and distribute
Carry out day-day banking duties (where appropriate)
Deal with archiving of files
Load new & update existing data on the system, prepare and file promptly and accurately (as appropriate)
Ensure daily post collection(s) is/are carried out punctually
Undertake accurate and prompt photocopying as required
Accurately bind and collate documents as required
Ensure all incoming telephone calls are dealt with professionally and directed accurately and promptly when covering Reception
Deal with routine and difficult enquiries promptly
Convey messages quickly, clearly and accurately
Archive hard copy (where appropriate)
Ensure deliveries received by Reception are directed to the appropriate staff
Responsible for restocking and distributing stationery for use in the office

The ideal candidate must have:
A professional confident manner
A levels or equivalent qualification, having achieved at least 6 GCSE (or equivalent) mostly at Grade A-C/9-4 including English and Maths
Ideally have a minimum of 6 months office experience
