Regional Account Manager - Wales
Location: Home Based, Wales and South West
Salary: GBP31,200 plus commission, car allowance and mileage
Contract: Full time,
Hours: 38.75 hours pw

Due to continued growth, PelGar International Ltd is now recruiting for a Regional Account Manager - Wales to work from home, covering Wales and the South West.
Regional Account Manager - About the role:
To achieve sales targets by promoting and selling the company's products within a specified geographical area (Wales and the South West) and to defined customer segments (Agricultural & retail).
To manage and develop a wide range of current agricultural and retail customers throughout Wales and the South West. Actively search for and develop new relationships in these sectors. Build relationships, carry out staff training and support the growing network of distributors throughout the region.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact in order to achieve agreed key performance indictors e.g. monthly / annual sales.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through effective service and relationships, good commercial propositions and ethical sales methods.
• Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems and update relevant information held in these systems as required.
• Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
• Support distributors/third party sales as and when required.
• Carry out customer and end user training at appropriate points during the seasonal sales cycle.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
• Adhere to customer order, administration and reporting requirements.
• Communicate and negotiate effectively both internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
• Effectively represent the company and present its products at external customer meetings and trade shows.
• Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
• Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
• Any other reasonable request
