We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused HR Manager who has ideally worked in a standalone generalist role and is looking for the next step up in their career, this is a new HR role at this site as the company continues to expand year on year.
This role will be a pivotal member of the leadership team to provide commercially focused HR support that will enable delivery of strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the leadership team to create and implement a people plan that will support the achievement of the strategic objectives.
Enhance organisational effectiveness by reviewing current structures and work practices, designing, and implementing changes as and where appropriate.
Ensure that the people/HR implications of future business activities are identified, planned for, and managed effectively.
Responsible for resourcing/talent attraction activities, whilst maintaining sight on costs and ensuring these remain within budget.
Partner with management teams at all levels in the business to identify key talent/potential employees, and support managers with creating and PDPs and career paths.
Work with the L&D Manager to identify and implement individual and team training and the creation of robust successor pipelines for leadership team and other key roles.
Partner with the leadership team and managers to ensure appropriate focus and outcomes on key people indicators
Ensure any HR issues are handled in an appropriate way, seeking guidance from the HRD / the Senior Legal Counsel as required.
Provide support on due diligence and integration activities (relevant to acquisitions) as required.
Experience & Skills:
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with up to 10 years experience in a generalist HR role.
MCIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
Results-focused, hands-on style with a passion for results.
Ability to influence at middle and senior management level, and a track record of working with managers as a partner.
Dynamic & self-motivated; confident working and making decisions on own initiative
Excellent communication skills - oral, written and listening.
Solid IT skills; ability to be self-sufficient regarding use of standard HR systems and bespoke reports and dashboards.
The role will require some travel on monthly basis; travel to other UK sites may also be required on a less frequent basis. Some international travel is also required, although likely to be limited.
Company offer a good basic salary plus car allowance and bonus.
