MC Personnel are recruitig for a full time experienced customer service advisor for an immediate start for 3 months, this is to be reviewed by the business if the demand continues, it could continue to a fixed term contract or full time employment for the right candidate

Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 (1 hour lunch) and is for a Customer service advisor.

GBP9.00 per hour

Required Experience and Knowledge

1. Experience in a busy customer service environment with emphasis on customer contact via telephone and e-mail

2. Experience and confidence in using Microsoft Office applications

3. Working knowledge of Dynamics AX desired

4. Experience of working in a high pressure environment.

Key responsibilities

* Receive orders via telephone, fax and post and enter onto the system

* Check electronic orders received and amend where necessary

* Professionally handle all enquiries received with regard to delivery dates and stock availability, managing customers' expectations as appropriate

* Liaise with Customer Service Supervisors and arrange where necessary and practical for specific orders to be given preferential treatment in order to meet specific delivery deadlines

* Deal with all enquiries received for the names and addresses of stockists from where the Company's materials can be obtained, and where necessary contact merchants and field sales staff to ensure that new business opportunities can be fully exploited

* Investigate all queries and complaints and ensure that problems are resolved within lead times set by management in order to maintain customer goodwill and to prevent the delaying of payments

* Deal with all customer discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure that replacements and credits are issued accordingly.

* Liaise with production and transport personnel to source product availability and distribution requirements

* Filing of daily orders when required

* Cover for post room as required

* Build productive relationships with colleagues across all parts of the business to ensure that customer issues are dealt with swiftly, and that mutually acceptable resolutions are found to problems.

* Provide efficient sales support and administration services.

* Accurate entering of orders

* Prioritisation of workload

* Creation of new customer accounts

* Investigation of product complaints

* Advise customers of any delivery delays or operational issues which may impact their order being delivered on time and in full

* Any other duties as required by the manager
