We are recruiting an experienced Finance Analyst to join a rapidly growing and ambitious business based in Telford.
Our client is growing rapidly through sales and & acquisition as part of a group wide effort for business improvement we are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst on a permanent basis.
This is a fast moving exciting business to be part of.
As the Group Finance Analyst, your main duties will include:
* Develop a system to provide the "single source of the truth" in terms of data sets
* Act as the link to the Group IT team for transfer and integration of these data sets financial analysis on multiple revenue streams
* Development of weekly and monthly dashboards providing standard metrics
* Utilising data from non-finance systems
* Developing reports and analysis to give insight into operational costs
* Tracking of actual and committed versus budgets
* Support the delivery of key reports, data and analysis for:
* Shareholders
* Finance providers
* Support preparation of detailed business plans and financial models
* Including Consolidated models with ability to simply process what if and variance analysis.
* Ability to produce monthly forecasting and re-forecasting
* Providing key business insight to the senior management teams and stakeholders
* Support preparation of periodic reporting, budgeting, and forecasting of the Group's financial performance
* Assist in continuous improvement of management reporting packs
* Automation of reporting structures
* Graphical and KPI based metrics for use by non-finance members
* Improved error checking/reporting
* Being a key member of the Finance team providing financial support to the operational and Commercial teams
* Supporting the CEO & Finance Director with ad-hoc projects. This could range from acquisitions through to general business strategy ideas and Cash flow forecasting for project work
Essential Skills:
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Advanced experience in using Excel including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
* Degree in Finance, or similar relevant qualification
* Analytical experience would be ideal
The Group Finance analyst can expect a starting salary of GBP35-38k + benefits dependant on experience.
