Senior Java Consultant - FX Options - Front Office - Top Tier Investment Bank
Our client, a leading European Investment Bank are looking to hire Senior Java Engineers with strong experience of developing Real Time, robust and error tolerant systems in a Front Office environment into their central Front Office development team. This role will focus specifically within the FX Options trading group, and therefore any knowledge of FX Options or another electronically traded asset class would be hugely beneficial.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an exciting, fast-paced Front Office environment, working closely with Traders and Quants and developing systems which are central to the performance of one of Europe's top Investment Banking divisions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong Java experience
- Experience working in a demanding Front Office environment
- Proven knowledge of FX Options or another electronically traded asset class
- Excellent communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Ideally, knowledge of C++ and/or C# technologies
- Ideally, knowledge of source code refactoring
This is a contract role inside-IR35, offering competitive rates circa. GBP700 a day +
