Role:

The role of Administration Supervisor is based within our Operational Administration Teams and involves "hands on" supervisory oversight and guidance for the teams carrying out services for our clients and their shareholders.

The Administration Supervisor will ensure the team carry out their respective daily functions in order to meet deadlines, deliver and maintain a high quality, accurate and outstanding customer service at all times.

The team are responsible for all aspects of registration maintenance and general administration work for client's registers, working closely with other business areas to provide the very highest level of client-branded customer service

Key Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate and lead the Administration team (10-12 staff).

* Oversee the general administration work of the team on a day-to-day basis, providing hands-on assistance and technical guidance where necessary.

* Working with the Operations Manager to plan, monitor and co-ordinate workflow.

* Ensure full compliance with internal and external procedures and FCA regulations including CASS and MiFID II rules.

* Ensure that the team carries out AML checks in line with current processes, policies and regulations.

* Maintain regular quality and control reviews and recommend areas for improvement.

* Monitor the effectiveness of working procedures.

* Monitor complaints, incident reports and other MI and key controls.

* Identify and arrange necessary training and development needs of the staff.

* Monitor the performance and effectiveness of the teams at both team and individual level through regular meetings and appraisals.

Experience:

Essential:

* Previous Financial Service, Banking or Insurance experience, leading successful teams.

* Strong leadership skills and proven of "hands on" people management, able to oversee a team of Administrators.

* Understanding and knowledge of FCA / CASS regulations.

* Excellent training, coaching and guidance skills.

* Knowledge in Excel, Word & Outlook.

Desirable:

* Investment Operations Certificate qualified desirable or willingness to study towards.

* Experience within the stocks and shares industry either within a brokerage or registrar environment

* Regulated business experience.

Certification Employee responsibilities:

* The individual holding this role has been designated as a Certification Employee for the purposes of the FCA's Senior Managers and Certification Regime.

* Required to be "fit and proper" at all times.

* Required to comply with the FCA Conduct Rules applicable to all financial services employees

The role is subject to prescribed Training and Competence obligations.

Required to obtain any required qualifications or experience within prescribed timeframes and to maintain competence (including the satisfaction of CPD requirements) on an ongoing basis thereafter
