Inventory Controller
Location: Rustington, West Sussex
Permanent role
Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP35,000
A global leader specialising in state-of-the-art protection systems for vehicles is seeking a Inventory Controller to manage inventory across all business locations whilst managing obsolescence and making sure all stock control measures are adhered to.
Responsbilities - Inventory Controller
Maintaining a SAPb1 system ensuring a correct and up to date inventory count throughout the year
Performing regular cycle counts throughout the year
Management of the annual financial stock count
Investigating stock issues and disappearances
Development of procedures and strategies to improve material control throughout the business
Management of a stock committee meeting - detailing weekly and monthly stock activities
Providing regular stock reports as required
Assisting in stores with daily activities as required
Skills and Knowledge - Inventory Controller
Experience working in a logistics/inventory role and/or relevant qualifications
Experience of working in a high pressured, fast paced manufacturing environment
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Customer focused individual
Excellent note taking and reporting skills
Strong computer skills eg. Excel
