A fantastic opportunity to join a fast moving and very highly regarded Independent Financial Planning firm based in Kent.
The provide advice across the range on Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT, mortgages and equity release as well as some business planning including group schemes. The business is in the process of rapid change and growth and are building the team and infrastructure to serve a large, loyal customer base.

This role would suit someone who is preferably Diploma Qualified and wants to put their technical knowledge to use, although will consider part qualified with the relevant Paraplanning qualification and experience.
This is a full-time, office based role. This role will involve supporting the firm's financial planners with suitability report writing, fact finding, risk profiling and client interaction including dealing with enquiries and contacting leads. It is a great opportunity for someone to grow in the role and help build on the firm's success. There will be support for the right candidates who wish to progress to becoming an independent financial adviser, although this is not a prerequisite.

The business require someone who can hit the ground running and hence is likely to be fully qualified or at least part qualified in paraplanning and will already have some experience.

Among other duties, you will be writing suitability reports, undertaking research, preparing review reports, undertaking client reviews, preparing illustrations and producing retirement models / forecasts as well as acting as a point of contact for clients and third parties.

The Required Skills:

* Level 4 Diploma Qualified (Preferred)
* Paraplanning qualified (R01 or CF1 and paraplanning J09 as a minimum)
* Experience in providing paraplanning support
* Strong technical knowledge, particularly around pensions and investments, along with a desire to continue development (essential)
* Good understanding of the FCA and how a Financial services firm operates
