Location: York, Yorkshire
Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional weekend working
Salary: up to circa GBP30K + bonuses
Rhodium Consulting are recruiting for an Internal Telephone Sales person to join the team of a successful wholesale business.
Internal Salesperson required for a Wholesale company supplying construction products to the trade.
This is a great opportunity to take on a new role in a fast -paced environment.
• The ideal candidate must be confident, enthusiastic with a good attitude towards work.
• It is essential you are organised, sales driven and motivated to reach targets.
• Ideally you will have sales/customer service experience in the wholesale/merchant industry eg builders merchant or plumbers merchant
Role:
To work within a small team, helping to contribute to the success of the branch and promote the company name by providing excellent levels of customer service at all times.
Maximise sales by providing high levels of customer service in all areas including answering phones promptly, handling queries and orders efficiently and accurately.
To increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new business. Cold calling contractors in the area to make them aware of your services and develop new business.
Trade counter sales and taking telephone orders.
Preparing quotations.
Good sales experience is required but you will be trained and pick up product knowledge over time.
Competitive salary depending on experience plus bonus, benefits and opportunities for career progression.
