Role:
As a Junior Product Analyst, you will work alongside the wider DD teams to ensure they have a sound knowledge base and set of physical products upon which to develop support content from.
You will be responsible for researching new products, operating systems and market developments in UK, European and overseas markets. In addition you will purchase the applicable products we physically need onsite in order to create accurate simulations of their features and attributes.
Overall you will ensure our device repository, records and reference material is maintained alongside our roadmap to ensure content delivery dates can be met.
Core requirements
* Market research of smartphones, connected living & smart appliance products with a specific focus on cross compatibility of overseas products with UK & European models.
* Monitoring for app & Operating System (OS) updates - raising and plotting upcoming changes on our LCX roadmap.
* Purchasing products which content teams physically require for simulation.
* Maintaining the LCX device repository - ensuring any new devices are logged
* Basic content/simulation tasks - supporting content teams with basic content tasks as required (training will be provided)
* Testing - testing simulations, scenarios and OS updates pre-production launch
Skills/Experience
* College leaver/graduate (ideally in a digital/comms related discipline)
* Good analytics experience
* Accomplished user of Microsoft Excel and MS Office in general
* Personal attributes
* An interest in telecommunications and connected living/smart devices would be beneficial
* Good communication skills & a proactive attitude to problem solving
