Senior Trust Fundraiser

London, initially home-based due to Government guidance

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Trust Fundraiser to join our successful team. This is a hands-on role for someone with good, demonstrable experience in delivering trust fundraising income and managing relationships with charitable trusts and foundations.

Joining a friendly, motivated and supportive fundraising team, you will be required to work with colleagues across the charity, to identify and develop compelling proposals. You will be responsible for the management of existing relationships and be expected to generate a strong prospect pipeline to grow the portfolio of medium, large and multi-year funders.

We are the charity making life fully inclusive for deaf people and those with hearing loss or tinnitus. Together, we campaign for an inclusive society. We connect people to practical advice and pioneer new treatments for hearing loss and tinnitus.

This is an exciting time for us as we have recently gone back to our old, much-loved name after a decade as Action on Hearing Loss. The return to the household name, which dates back to 1911, is part of our ambitious plans to reach more of the 1 in 5 adults in the UK who are deaf or have hearing loss and the 1 in 8 who have tinnitus.

The focus on the daily issues deaf people have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the barriers to communication caused by face coverings, has highlighted the need for us to be a stronger brand and extend our reach.

Communication is a basic human need. Yet most of us know someone who struggles to communicate through hearing loss. It can cause substantial harm to friendships, family relationships, confidence, employability, mental health and life chances.
