The Company:
* An excellent opportunity for an Assistant Brand Merchandiser to join a successful FMCG company working with Blue Chip Retailers managing their Brands
* Established more than 20 years ago, they are a market-leading manufacturer and supplier of cosmetics and beauty solutions worldwide offering their clients a multitude of services, including product innovation and development, design and manufacturing.
* This is a really exciting role in a fast growing, fashion forward company. We are ideally looking for someone with experience across Import Merchandise skill set and also as a Retail Merchandiser
The Role:
* Key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Senior Merchandiser in fulfilling the operational requirements of the brands.
* Processing of orders from our key retail partners.
* Raising purchase orders for components from the Far East and UK manufacturing base
* Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data
* Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise
* Analysing retailer stock holding to help forecast demand
* Working closely with the logistics team to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
* Liaising with the supply chain team to ensure stock is always available.
The individual:
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
* Able to handle a busy work load
* A passionate individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail is an absolute must
* An excellent communicator
* Able to report in a clear and concise format
* Knowledge of SAGE would be ideal but not essential
