The Mobile Cook will prepare meals from the daily menu across any of our Broadacres extra care scheme within Broadacres, Hambleton and Richmondshire. You will be responsible for managing kitchen supplies and checking and maintaining equipment. You will cover duties of both a cook role and a catering assistant role in their absence. This is a part time 24 hour per week role. 

To apply for this post, you must have a good understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures, a basic Certificate in Food Hygiene and knowledge of HACCP/Food Safety.  You should also have a full UK driving licence and a suitable vehicle for work purposes.

As we are open 7 days a week, candidates must be able to work flexibly, including weekends on a rota basis.  It is also essential that you have good customer service skills and are able to work as part of a team or independently where necessary.
