The Company:
ER Recruitment is working exclusively with our client, Everards of Leicestershire, a well known, highly reputable company working in the hospitality industry in the East Midlands.
Everards is a regional family brewery founded in 1849 by William Everard. It is headquartered in Leicestershire, employs 74 people and produces c16,000 barrels of beer a year.
The Everards mantra is to delight the customer and they are seeking a hospitality professional with a minimum two years management experience in a high volume drink and food business supporting the general manager on a day to day basis.
The successful candidate will have a proven record of delighting customers, growing and maintain business through recruitment, training and management of the team, you will be able to effectively control costs, make key decisions and show a high level of autonomy whilst maintaining their place as a key leader within the team.
You will display high levels of loyalty, a robust work ethic, attention to detail, be friendly with a passion for the hospitality trade with experience of both the food side and wet side of the business.

Role & Responsibilities of the Deputy General Manager:
* Hire, train & manage employees
* Maintain & develop business
* Cost control
* Drive service and maintain standards
* Seek innovative ways to drive trade
* Assist the GM in day to day management of the business
* Making key decisions in the GM's absence
* Ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
* Providing leaderships to the front of house team
* Compliance with all relevant legislation
* Rota management

* At least two years' experience of direct customer contact in food & beverage hospitality management
