Assembly/Manufacturing team member

Our client based just off Junction 36 of the M1 between Barnsley and North Sheffield are looking for Assembly operatives to join them on a temp to perm basis.

Own transport for this position is essential

3 shift patterns are available (Not Rotating) and will be working 40 hours over 4 days with lots of overtime available

Monday to Thursday 6am - 4pm

Monday to Thursday 2pm to 12am

Monday to Thursday 4pm to 2am

First 10 hours of the day GBP8.73 OT after 10 hours GBP11.64

Friday over time Paid at GBP11.64ph

Saturday GBP11.64ph

Sunday GBP17.46ph

Please note you will need to complete 40 hours before to get over time rate.

Full training will be available for this position.

Role and responsibilities of Assembly Operative:

* Assembly and packing of large components

* Quality control - highlight quality issues

* Attend training to develop knowledge and skills

* Follow procedures

Experience preferred for Assembly Operative

* Good understanding of written and spoken English

* Good numeracy skills

* Good team working skills

* Good attention to detail

* Ability to use various hand tools
