We’re now looking for a Waking Night Carer to join us for 27 hours (across 3 nights) per week (9 hour shifts).

Ensuring the daily wellbeing of our customers, the Waking Night Carer will answer pendant alarm activations, door exit sensor activations, falls alarm activations, logging all activations in the alarm activations sheets. You will maintain records of all daily visits and contacts using iCare system, emails and on calls as appropriate to include logging in and out of every call attended. Operating in a person-centred manner, you will safeguard individual customers and report any issues or concerns as required.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have exceptional communication skills and a good standard of education to include good literacy and numeracy skills. You’ll share the Trusts values, be able to display empathy and have the ability to identify the needs of others, providing alternative solutions where needed. Previous care experience is also essential.

Basic knowledge of care equipment would be a distinct advantage, as would a care qualification such as a Certificate / Diploma in Health and Social Care.
