A local Blackpool based business are looking to add a Sales Ledger Clerk to their small finance team. The main purpose of this position is to provide assistance and support on the Sales Ledger and ensure that customers are adhering to their payment terms.

For the right person they are offering a salary of GBP20,000-GBP22,000 with a strong benefits package including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

You will be mainly responsible for;

Providing finance support to the assistant financial controller
Dealing with customer queries and raising credit notes if necessary
Creating daily sales invoices and submitting on to customers portals
Allocating daily payments to customers accounts
Dealing with Customer Invoice queries
Raising Manual Invoices for the collection of Clearance stock
Running Credit Checks on New Customers
Bank reconciliation
Reviewing and posting expenses
They are looking for the following;

Sales Ledger experience
Credit control experience
Good IT skills on Excel particularly
Good organisation and communication skills
Positive attitude to work and able to work well within a team
