A Technical Consultancy seeks a Manufacturing Specialist to take responsibility for delivering hardware designed by their electronic, mechanical and PCB designers; selecting suppliers, obtaining quotes, placing orders and resolving any manufacturing issues. You must have strong customer facing skills as well as being highly organised.
This Manufacturing Specialist role will suit a technically competent individual who has possibly worked for a variety of employers and is able to use their knowledge of design for manufacturing supply chain principles to advise team members at formal design reviews.
This position is a more traditional Manufacturing Engineering role, offering someone the chance to widen their experience and to thrive on more direct involvement with clients.
Of particular interest would be some experience of Environmental Legislation, Sustainable design and Product Reliability.
This position will mainly involve Defence related customers.
Applicants must be eligible for SC Clearance
