Quantity Surveyor/ Archetectural Metalwork, Birmingham, 40K

Duties required from the Quantity Surveyor;

* Tendering sub-contract work packages and ensuring new sub-contractors are set up on the system

* Sub-contract comparisons

* Pre-start meetings

* Keeping sub-contract costs up to date

* Assist the construction team in managing contract requirements

* Making accurate applications for payment and ensuring payments are received on time

* Management of cost reviews and CVR file

* Identify and evaluate Client Variations and Additions

Requirements to be successful as the Quantity Surveyor;

* Minimum GCSE Maths and English grade C / 5 or above

* Experience of working for traditional housebuilders or similar

* HNC / Degree in Construction Management / Quantity Surveying desirable

* Must be proficient in MS Office and MS Excel

Experience in the industry of curtain walling and facades is a must!
