What would you be responsible for in this role?
Assessing new and continuation claims, by reviewing
all claim documentation supplied by a policyholder and
relevant third parties.
Keeping the customer informed of progress at all
times both verbally and in writing via email, SMS or
letter
Taking new claim request calls and registering claims
over the phone
Generally assisting with administration tasks to
support the claims handlers
Identifying potentially fraudulent claims and
following the agreed processes for referral
Guiding policyholder on how to proceed with the claim
and keeping them informed at all times, both verbally and
in writing.
Assisting policyholders with general queries and insurance
issues.
Writing clear and accurate non-standard letters, where
claim circumstances require it.What would we like to see in you?
Excellent telephone manner and customer service
skills
Experience of working within a Veterinary Surgery/ a
detailed knowledge of animal care OR; at least one year's experience of handling Insurance
claims
Excellent administration skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
First class interpersonal skills, able to communicate
with a wide range of people
High attention to detailWhat can we offer you?
GBP18,500 per annum
Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.00pm
Working From Home - Laptop Provided
Role can support home-working, but there will also
be a requirement to come into the office
25 days annual leave
7.5% minimum employer pension contribution
to maximum of 9% (employee required to
contribute minimum 1.5%)
