We are recruiting for an Urban Designer in Bristol to join of the UK's most successful architectural practices.
Overall, the company employers over 300 staff spread across 8 offices in the UK. They are employee-owned, giving them a unique advantage compared to their competitors.
Within the Bristol, office is a combination of different teams including Architecture, Planning, BREEAM, Project Management, Urban Design, and Building Surveying.
The position will see you take a hands-on role, with a focus on good design and communication and working in the Masterplanning and Urban Design team.
You will be joining an architectural team of the absolute best experience and talent. The practice is a firm believer and is considered leaders within the use of BIM and how this will influence the industry in the years ahead.
The role of the Urban Designer will involve:
* Producing amazing graphics including hand drawings, plans and images from using Adobe Suite.
* Work within the masterplanning and urban design team - with a key focus on communication
* Using AutoCAD 2D, Sketchup & 3D Modelling in Revit
* Working on residential and regeneration projects
The salary for this position ranges from GBP20K-GBP30K depending on previous experience. Additionally, there is flex days, flexible working hours, share ownership options and many more.
What we are looking for?
* Live within a commutable distance to the Bristol office
* An Urban Design background, ideally with an architectural/urban design degree
* Strong personality with a commitment to the role
* Experience working as an Urban Design in the UK for a design focused practice.
* Ability to use Adobe Suite and hand draw
