FINTEC recruit is seeking a Contracts and Performance Advisor for our Renewable Energy Consultancy client. This is a maternity cover role possibly up to 12 to 14 months term. Immediate start available

The role is permanent working Monday to Friday, competitive salary, plus car allowance and benefits. The role can be based either in Aberdeen or in London. This role will be part of the Contracts team supporting business worldwide, establishing and managing contractual arrangements with suppliers and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting and advising on the contract terms, risks and opportunities, project control aspects of key proposals and ongoing projects

Ensure that internal contracting guidelines and control methods and systems are followed / used and quality reviews are carried out
Providing guidance and consultation to project managers with cost estimating and reporting to ensure project margins are maximised
Review and comment on client contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts and non-disclosure agreements
Maintain contract information data
Draft new contract documents as required
Negotiate contracts and manage contract amendments, renewals and rate revisions as required
Provide tender support as required
Input to global agreements
Conduct annual rate reviews and establish standard rates with input from relevant managers
Provide charge out rate analysis
Ensure that project controls are adhered to within the group
Regular reporting and advice on margins for live projects and proposals, including reporting any deviations from proposal budgets.
Active role within the performance team Skills and Experience required for the Contracts and Performance Advisor role:

Degree educated in a relevant area such as business or law is desirable
Relevant experience in commercial contracts, preferably in an engineering environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills essential;
Team player comfortable with interfacing at all levels inside and outside the organisation;
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills (written and oral);
Strong negotiation skills;
High computer literacy in MS Office;
Flexibility to adapt to varying business needs at short notice;
