Our client now requires a Production Manager to join the business. A fantastic role for someone passionate about developing their career within Operations and Production with a growing business

This role offers the successful individual a salary of up to GBP30,000, with career progression opportunities and growth.
Based in Fife, The Production Manager will provide technical / management support to Site Manager, ensuring the smooth production process.
The Role
* Develop & implement all production processes, whilst maintaining standards and making changes as required;
* Plan and anticipate future challenges, providing solutions as needed to meet productions timelines;
* Ensure the smooth running and operation of the factory during the shift;
* Monitor production standards and highlight issues immediately to Site Manager, if unresolved;
* Ensure production is run cost-effectively, by reducing waste and providing solutions as needed;
* Analyse data relating to the performance of the department;
* Develop staff within the team, overseeing all training;
* Conduct all personnel management such as annual leave sign off and appraisals; and
* Ensure a safe working environment for all team members, working with the Health and Safety Manager as needed.
The Candidate
* Experience of supervision in an FMCG environment essential.
* Strong leadership and staff management skills critical H&S/Food Safety systems & legislation (e.g. IOSH , HACCP & Food Hygiene );
* Able to ensure a safe working environment.
* Able to ensure that manufacturing meets the required quality standards.
* Able to use widespread functions within relevant software
* Completion of relevant SVQ / agrees to work towards SVQ essential
