Support Worker Opportunities (Days & Nights available)

Stockdales is a local charity based in Sale, just south of Manchester City Centre. We have over 60 years’ experience supporting people with learning and physical disabilities to live life to the full.

We’re delighted to help over 200 children, young people and adults, their families and carers every year.

What We Want:

Caring self-motivated staff who want to help the people we support. No two days are the same and you will be making a real difference to people who need care and support every day of their lives. Whether they are getting up in the morning, baking a cake or are supporting someone to get out and about in their local community you will be that person helping them to live life to the full.

You will be supported to develop your career and will eventually be able to help people with their health care procedures and be able to lead a team of staff acting as the shift leader. You will go home at the end of your shift totally satisfied and feeling you have made a big difference to the people you support.

To do this job you don’t need to have worked in a care setting but need to have a passion and want to help people. Having basic IT skills and need to be able to read, write and have basic numeracy skills is essential to this role. Being able to drive is a bonus but isn’t essential to this role.
