Our client is a value-orientated Housing Association working together to create communities where people want to live. They manage circa 5,500 homes over a wide geographical area and their residents include families, older people and those in need of special care and support.

 

Role Description:

 

  • Provide full and effective administrative support for the Group Fire Safety Management programme and team (Compliance, Fire Safety, Property Services and Communities and Customer Service) ensuring that the Group is fulfilling all Statutory and Regulatory fire risk obligations across the whole stock. 
  • Take responsibility to provide a consistent and timely approach to coordinating, recording any monitoring progress with any Fire Risk Assessment actions, in line with the Group’s policy and procedures. 
  • Coordinate any actions that are identified during the weekly fire safety inspections on all schemes and take responsibility for distributing and monitoring progress of actions.
  • Support and assist the Senior Fire Officer to develop a plan or works for ensuring completion of Fire Risk Assessment actions in line with timescales.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the main internal and external stakeholders, providing a positive and professional service throughout.
  • Provide administrative support for the Fire Safety Planned Programme of Works.
  • Attend contractor review meetings, provide programme feedback, record minutes and agreed actions.
  • Deliver a customer focused service to all residents ensuring the customer journey and experience is positive and all queries responded to within a timely manner.
