Hello, we’re the Pension Protection Fund. We protect millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Our members rely on us to look after their pensions if their employers collapse and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.

The opportunity for a Transfer Administrator has arisen to join our busy Payments and Transfer team and support the transfer of pension scheme data to the PPF in an accurate and timely fashion.

The role will put our customers at the heart of everything you do, you will ensure that data is accurately analysed, validated and loaded to help support the transfer process.  All member data will need to be handled securely and if an issue arises ensure it is dealt with proactively and collaboratively so that the right members are paid the right amount at the right time.

Our ideal applicant will have experience of managing and analysing data from within the pensions sector, specifically with Defined Benefit (DB) pensions.  You will have advanced Excel skills, including the use of formulae and analysis functions, strong analytical skills of significant amounts of data, the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, and also be able to take a flexible approach and adapt to change.
