We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Board and Governance Officer to attend and service Board / Subsidiary Board and Committee meetings and other governance meetings.

Within this role you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the efficient administration of Board, subsidiary Boards and Committee meetings including effective and timely Board / Committee paper production, management of agenda planning, report collation and quality control

  • Assisting with the arrangement of travel, hotel accommodation, subscriptions and conference bookings
  • Providing all logistical arrangements for meetings including coordinating venues and catering requirements
  • Supporting and implementing effective governance services and processes in order to ensure compliance of company law and legal obligations.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience of formal minute / note taking and of using a wide range of IT packages
  • Be capable of communicating both verbally and in writing, to a high standard with senior managers and board members
  • Be highly organised with the ability to plan and prioritise
  • Be confident when working in a pressurised environment and maintaining a high degree of accuracy
