Are you an experienced scheduler looking for a new challenge? Would you like to learn more about maintenance planning? We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering Team based at our Hereford Factory.

The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 08.00hrs - 16.30hrs.

Purpose of the role:

The Maintenance Planner will aim to deliver a cost effective and legally compliant maintenance service to this fast paced manufacturing plant, through efficient planning and optimization of all activities and resources.

You will be a key player in the Engineering team, developing and implementing appropriate maintenance plans that incorporate all maintenance facing activities.

Key responsibilities will include:
Generating prioritised, resource balanced maintenance plans and schedules for all site manufacturing assets
Communicating agreed maintenance plans to both internal and external parties
Creating comprehensive event plans for all major overhaul activities and shutdowns
Working in conjunction with stores and procurement team to establish materials for all planned maintenance
Leading the direct procurement of contractors and consumables required
Generating engineering performance reports
Holding regular review meetings to monitor effectiveness of maintenance plansWhat we are looking for:

Proven experience of plant maintenance or other associated planning / scheduling roles
Ideally HNC / HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline
Proven experience of using Microsoft packages with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Secondary school education with the willingness to learn appropriate technical skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Numerate and analytical with a good eye for detail.
Knowledge of purchasing and budget management
Knowledge of working with systems such as Mainsaver CMMS A little about us:
