Mechanical Supervisor
We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor working for a well-established M&E Contractor based in Swansea. As Mechanical Supervisor who will be assisting the Project Manager looking after the M&E package on a Large Scale Student Accommodation in Swansea due to start January 2021.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
The main duty is to oversee installation work conducted by mechanical tradespeople. Mechanical Supervisor conducts inspections, ensuring the safety procedures are being adhered to and maintains inventory of machine parts.
* Day to day coordination of labour and subcontractors on site
* Coordination of services
* Participation in ordering labour and materials
* Health & Safety
* Tools Box Talks & Site Inductions
* Ensuring works run to programme
* Site meetings with client and contractors
* Quality Assurance
The ideal candidate:
* Have a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
* Hold a current SSSTS / CSCS
* Must have experience working on Mechanical Projects over GBP2M
* Experience in looking after the entire Mechanical project (all aspects)
* Experienced in running a group of operatives/engineers
* Passionate and motivated in the work place
* Strong communication skills
* A willingness to develop their career and to strive towards promotion
