Apprenticeship Trainer / Skills Coach - Business Services

We are currently supporting one of the UK leading Training Providers. The organisation is experiencing significant growth and this role presents an excellent opportunity for development and progression.

We are looking for an experienced Apprenticeship Assessor with experience of delivering up to L4 Apprenticeship Qualifications.

This training provider delivers a wide range of apprenticeships within Financial, Accountancy and Business Training to companies throughout England.

The company offer a starting salary of up GBP27000, Pension Scheme, 25 days holidays, Life Insurance and a wide range of other benefits. This is a home-based position, where the majority of the contact with the learner will be done via a Video Chat Platform, similar to Skype so travel is minimal. As a Skills Coach you will also receive business mileage of 36 pence per mile.

Typical duties of the Apprenticeship Assessor / Tutor will include:

•To coach, mentor and guide learners who are engaged on apprenticeship programmes

•Actively support, mentor and motivate learners across the learner journey to help them with the timely completion of their learning aims and qualification. Contact will be varied and might include face to face, email, Skype, webinars etc.

•Deliver inspiring training and coaching sessions to groups and individual learners.

•Set individual targets for each learner based on capability to ensure KPIs are met

•Manage your diary so that agreed contact with learners is achieved.

•Identify and assess learners' needs and put in place robust learning plans, with realistic and challenging goals, that enable learners to understand their personal journey and realise their potential.

•Observe, mark, and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.

•Provide insightful, constructive and informative feedback to help the learner maximize their potential.

•Proactively monitor, evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.

•Ensuring all IT systems up to date and meet funding compliance

•Coaching and guiding the learners to the End Point Assessment.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required for the Apprenticeship Trainer/Skills Coach:

•Assessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32, D33

•Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS Award in Education and Training or equivalent

•Vocational competence within a Team Leader or Management related position

•Experience of delivering and coaching learners up to level 4 within Business Services or Management Apprenticeships

•Knowledge or experience within Accounting would be highly desirable

•Excellent all round IT Skills includes experience of using Skype, Zoom, Hangout Video Apps
