The company have been running strong for over 75 years and are a major player within the UK logistics industry. The company was recently invested in by a major European logistics group and have great backing and investment to become a real leader within the Logistics industry.
Commercial Manager Position Overview
Joining a close knit senior management structure within the business you will be responsible for developing and increasing sales and profit margins for the company. Working closely with director level management you will be making key business decisions and working closely with both operations & sales aspects of the business.
Commercial Manager Position Requirements
Have 3 or more years' experience working as a commercial manager, business development manager or sales manager - specifically within Transport (FMCG).
Have a proven track record of delivery on sales targets.
Be capable of working under pressure, to exacting deadlines and demanding targets.
Be results orientated.
Have a passion for adding new customers and growing business with existing customers.
Be computer literate and well organised.
Be confident dealing directly with our customers and liaising with them over the phone and face to face.
Be commercially focused.
Be a team player and willing to assist work colleagues when required.
Have a flexible attitude and willing to learn.Commercial Manager Position Remuneration
A competitive salary - circa GBP35 - 40k per annum.
A performance related bonus - based on achieving targets.
