CK Group are recruiting for a Technical Sales Manager on behalf of a multinational provider of scientific services, to cover a EMEA territory, initially working remotely, on a 9 month fixed-term contract. There is the potential for this role to become permanent for the successful candidate.

This role would be supporting their petrochemicals team, working on projects related to technical innovations. The candidate will initially work remotely, and can be located anywhere in the UK, reporting into their Aberdeen site.
The role:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth of a key innovative technology across a wide geography. The role has a critical part to play in building the market for this differentiating technology. This will be achieved by ensuring sales growth against defined targets, both in their core service offering as well as identifying and acting open opportunities for new business related to Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification.
The Sales Manager also supports driving change and simplification throughout the product line, exceeding clients' expectations and delivering on our Total Quality Assurance guarantee.
The role is initially a temporary one, filling a maternity vacancy, with the potential to become permanent for a successful candidate in this fast-growing area of the business.
Ideally based in Aberdeen, applications from the right candidate would be considered from all areas as the role is primarily customer facing and the customer base is geographically diverse.
The candidate:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills/qualifications:
A strong sales background
An understanding of mathematics or statistics and a keen interest in data science
Experience of CRM systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
Flexible approach to working hours
