We are working with a Bespoke Automation Solutions supplier who works with a wide range of industries predominantly within the UK Market, in their search for a Control Systems Design Engineer.
The Position
* Compile BOM's for Electrical Design
* Undertake machine RAM's including any calculations relation to the safety of control systems
* Liaise with the wider engineering & software design and development teams
* Generate block diagrams to outline machine architecture
* Working alongside the Control Technicians
* Ensure all stock levels are maintained
* Complete machine inspection documents prior final acceptance testing and hand over to the client
* Fault Finding on Control Systems or other equipment
* Assist with machine debug to ensure the project maintains deadline dates
* Manage and own projects from start to finish and ensure planned deadlines are met,
The Control Systems Design Engineer
* Must be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Control System Engineering
* Experienced in Programming of Network BUS systems, SCADA and various PLC systems ( Omron, Beckhoff, Siemens ETC)
* Knowledge of CE Marking & Machinery Directive in relation to control systems compliance
* Experience with design software such as AutoCAD in relation to wiring diagrams and control panel builds
