An opportunity has arisen for a HR Planning and Services Manager to be the workforce planning lead and ensure appropriate plans are in place for the medium to long term vision linking to finances.
As the HR Planning and Services Manager, you will manage various teams and ensure the organisation's vision, HR strategies and policies are ingrained into working practices.
This position is a 1 year contract based between Stockton and Middlesbrough offering GBP20.79 per hour PAYE.
Responsibilities as a HR Planning and Services Manager include:
* Developing and monitoring force workforce plans with a view to provide informed projections and to support the long term financial planning along with managing demand as part of the review that is undertaken
* Managing National programmes on behalf of the HR director and the wider organisation to ensure that the targets set are achieved through working groups
* Managing the recruitment selection and assessment
* Manage and lead on statutory returns and surveys ensuring benchmarking is undertaken to continually improve. Also to manage and lead on audits for the roles remit.
* Providing timely, quality and relevant management information to facilitate improved people related decision making, recommendations will be presented along with the data when required
* Providing advice, compliance monitoring and reporting for Reward and Recognition including gender pay reporting
* Management of terms and condition and employment contracts and related employment templates
* Advisory services to managers and staff on employment matters within the remit of the role
* Managing HR Systems and Data management within the HR function
* End to end employee life cycle administration, always seeking to continuously improve customer service
* Coordination of HR aspects of the Service desk, ensuring trends are identified and appropriate actions are taken within HR
* Self-service management provision within the remit of HR and the role
* Ensuring process improvements are continually review within the remit of the role and implemented in a timely manner
* Support the Director of HR and senior leads in developing positive working relations with local Trade Union and staff association representatives including formal consultation processes
* Build relationships and form alliances with external counterparts, communities of practice and stakeholders to scan for innovations and opportunities to form partnerships.
* Being an ambassador, role modelling values and ethics both internally and externally
* To manage multi discipline teams of around 15 team members
